James Martin Fans 'So Sad' Over Summer Break

Saturday Morning viewers were 'so sad' to see James Martin wrap up the 'final show' of the season. The popular programme, which has been airing since 2017, started an hour later than usual this weekend, with ITV Racing: The Opening Show occupying its regular 9.30am slot. However, that was not the only significant change for fans, as the show will now be off-air for several weeks.

James Martin Announces Summer Break

James, joined by Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton, chef Mike Reid, and chocolatier Mark Tilling, announced the show would be taking a summer break, as reported by the Mirror. The celebrity chef said: "Before we go, because it's our final show, our final show before the summer break, we've got to finish off with some ice cream."

As he concluded the episode, he added: "It leaves me to say, thank you very much to all of our guests, Mike, Mark, and Natasha. This is the last show before me and the crew head off for the summer break. We'll see you back in autumn. Have a good summer, bye for now!"
