Love Island star Ronnie Vint has revealed the results of his hair transplant in a series of before and after photos on Instagram. The 2025 contestant underwent the procedure in London after enduring years of speculation from viewers about his hair.
Background
During Ronnie's time on Love Island, viewers flooded social media with questions about his hair, with many suspecting he wore a wig. After leaving the villa, he appeared on Olivia Attwood's podcast 'So Wrong It's Right', where he admitted using hair fibre spray to conceal his receding hairline. He joked: "My hairline, if I ain't got this powder in, my hairline's back in Mallorca, it's that bad." He also quipped about being "f----d" if it rained, referencing his habit of telling friends to "watch his barnet" when carrying drinks on a night out.
The Procedure
Having used hair fibres for years and even partnering with supplier Turbo, Ronnie decided to undergo a transplant. He shared a story on Instagram showing his shaved head with pen markings, captioned: "So we did a little thing @harleystreethairtransplant." A follow-up story showed bandages around his head, with the message: "Thank you to the guys at @harleystreethairtransplant. Top top guys. Will do more content and explain while I'm finally ready to have this done."
Support from Fans and Fellow Islanders
Ronnie also posted a collaboration with the clinic, receiving an outpouring of support. Comments included "Looking sharp" and "Good for you". Former Love Island star Wil Anderson, who had a similar procedure last year, wrote: "Join the crew." Ronnie is not alone among Love Island alumni; past contestants Harry Cooksley and Ben Holbrough have also undergone hair transplants, and Ty Isherwood recently shared his own journey. In recovery, Isherwood said in an Instagram Q&A: "Swimmingly. Got my face back now just gotta resist the itch now which is a job on its own."
