Married At First Sight Australia 2026 has been marked by unprecedented levels of conflict among the brides, and now one contestant has stepped forward to identify the person she believes is the primary instigator of the season's toxic atmosphere.
Alissa Fay Points Finger at Gia Fleur
Alissa Fay, who was the target of harsh comments and a leaked group chat, has named Gia Fleur as the 'real ring leader' behind the 'catty' behaviour. In an interview, Alissa stated: 'She just has a way of being involved in all the drama, she loves to create drama and unfortunately she needs a wake up call.'
Rachel Gilmore echoed these sentiments, describing Gia as a 'protagonist' of drama and also criticising Bec Zacharia, Brook, and Juliette for their roles. 'They were a part of that posse and didn't call it out so you're blindly following,' Rachel said.
Gia Admits to Being an Instigator
Surprisingly, Gia agreed with the accusations, confessing: 'Bec and I were probably the biggest instigators of drama throughout the experiment. I think her and I kind of fed off each other... All of us girls were pretty b--chy and catty and looking back there's a lot of things I wish I didn't do.'
Bec Zacharia acknowledged her own behaviour but maintained that Gia was the driving force. 'I think Gia was the ringleader of it all, people would probably say me but I don't think so,' she said.
The season has been described as lacking 'sisterhood' among the women, with multiple brides expressing regret over their actions. The revelations have sparked further discussion about the dynamics of reality TV and the impact of group behaviour on participants.
