Santander is offering customers a free £50 Amazon voucher, and there is no need to switch your current account. Money Saving Expert (MSE), the site founded by BBC and ITV star Martin Lewis, says readers can get the voucher by opening a new Santander account.
How to Get the Voucher
Qualifying accounts include Santander Edge, Edge Up, Edge Explorer, or Everyday Current Account. To be eligible, you must make at least 10 debit card transactions of £5 or more each month during May, June, and July 2026 (30 in total). The account must remain open.
MSE states: “New and existing Santander customers can open its Everyday fee-free account if you just want to grab the £50, or its £3 a month Edge account that pays 1% cashback (max £10/month) on household bills paid by Direct Debit.”
Important Conditions
You will not qualify if you have received a Santander switch bonus or voucher in the last year. After completing the transactions, you will receive an email by September 15, 2026, to claim the voucher, which must be redeemed within 30 days.
For those willing to switch, Santander offers £180 cash instead of the Amazon voucher when moving an existing account to Edge or Edge Up.
