The picturesque town of Southwell in Nottinghamshire will be filled with the sounds of music from Friday, August 28 to Monday, August 31, as the highly anticipated Southwell Music Festival makes its return. Acclaimed Pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason Named Artist-in-Residence

In a major highlight for this year's festival, the acclaimed pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason has been appointed as the Festival's Artist-in-Residence. On Friday night, she will take the stage in the stunning Southwell Minster Nave to perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 27 alongside the Festival Sinfonia. Additionally, she will give intimate recitals in the State Chamber on both Saturday and Sunday, featuring a new grand piano funded by Newark and Sherwood District Council.
