Graffiti Artist 'Stax' Must Clean Up Tags in Coleshill

A graffiti artist who targeted a Midland town has been forced to apologise and clean up his own work. The artist, known as 'Stax', vandalised numerous locations across Coleshill, including playgrounds, local businesses, and even a Greggs bakery.

Following an investigation by local police, 'Stax' was identified and dealt with through a community resolution programme. As part of the conditions, he has been ordered to apologise to the property owners and clean up his tags from the affected areas. Additionally, he has been served a notice forbidding him from possessing spray paint or marker pens in any public place.

The police expressed gratitude to the community for their assistance in identifying the offender. Atherstone & Coleshill Police posted on social media: 'A local male has been dealt with by local officers in regards to a series of graffiti offences that has occurred in the Coleshill area over the past few weeks. The male has been positively dealt with via a programme called community resolution with various conditions for him to complete including cleaning some of the effected areas and an apology to the property owners.'
