Opening Day and Key Early Matches
The season opener against Burnley is followed by a trip to Coventry City on August 15, before hosting Sheffield Wednesday on August 22. The first Midlands derby of the season takes place on August 29 when Wolves travel to Stoke City.
September starts with a home game against Bristol City on September 5, followed by a visit to Norwich City on September 12. The first meeting with local rivals West Bromwich Albion is scheduled for September 19 at The Hawthorns.
Busy Festive Period
Wolves face a packed Christmas schedule. On Boxing Day, December 26, they host Leeds United. Three days later, on December 29, they travel to Middlesbrough. The new year begins with a home match against Preston North End on January 2, 2027.
According to the EFL, the Championship season comprises 46 matches, with 23 home and 23 away fixtures. Wolves will play on 37 weekends, with nine midweek rounds scheduled.
