Stacey Solomon Calls £20 Amazon Drying Gadget a 'Game Changer'

Stacey Solomon Endorses £20 Amazon Gadget for Drying Bedding

Television personality Stacey Solomon has enthusiastically recommended a £20 gadget from Amazon, describing it as a 'game changer' for drying bedding. The BBC Sort Your Life Out star took to Instagram earlier this week to showcase her latest purchase with her followers.

How the Spiral Sheet Hanger Works

Demonstrating the Pretyzoom Spiral Sheet Hanger, the mother-of-five expressed her satisfaction, stating, 'I'm actually so happy with this. I hate tumble drying bedding because I feel like you lose that freshly washed smell and it's expensive. But when I hang it, it takes up the whole line so this is a game changer.'

The product, which costs £20.88 for a pack of two, features a spiral-shaped stainless steel design. According to the product description, it is tailored for efficient drying of bed sheets, blankets, and towels, ensuring secure hanging without creases or wind disturbance.

It adds that the compact 15x15x5.5 inch size and spiral shape enable convenient indoor or outdoor drying while optimising space usage, making it ideal for small laundry areas or limited room environments.

Customer Reviews and Feedback

In the reviews section, Donna gave the Pretyzoom Spiral Sheet Hanger five stars, commenting, 'So glad I bought these, so easy to hang bedding on and not take up all the washing line. Also can be used indoors, good value for money.'

A four-star review noted, 'Didn't come with the fixings pictured but made it work and they do the job very well. Makes drying towels and bedding quick and easy. Hang mine from the shower rail and dry overnight.'

However, not all feedback was positive. Aggie described the gadget as 'fiddly' and added, 'I don’t like that you can’t simply collapse the hook, you have to fully detach it so the hook and little screw can get lost. Also not that easy for storage, unless you can keep it horizontally.'

Danielle left a one-star review, stating, 'Don't bother. Product is weak and bent out of shape.'

Alternative Options Available

A similar product is currently available in Dunelm's clearance section. The Set of 2 Spiral Drying Rods previously cost £5 but has now been reduced to £2.50. Dolly praised the Dunelm offering, calling it 'brilliant for drying bed linen, tablecloths and curtains indoors or outdoors.'

Another alternative is the 7 Lath Victorian Kitchen Maid Pulley Clothes Airer from Cast, priced at £109. This option is said to be easy to install in almost all ceiling spaces and can dry up to 15kg of washing.

Despite some mixed reviews, the Pretyzoom Spiral Sheet Hanger continues to attract attention, with another four-star review summarising, 'Does what it's meant to do. The assembly was a bit questionable but it works fine.'
