Walkers is set to spice up the snack aisle with a brand-new flavour launch in just days, accompanied by the crisp giant's most significant brand redesign in years.
New Hot Honey Flavour Hits Shelves
The iconic crisp brand has confirmed that its latest creation, Hot Honey flavoured crisps, will be available to buy from Monday, January 12. The new product will be sold in a six-pack format, with an expected retail price of around £2.15.
While the exact list of supermarkets stocking the flavour is still under wraps, it is anticipated to see a wide release across major UK retailers. This launch follows the successful introduction of two other permanent flavours to Walkers' core line-up in late 2025: Oven Baked Slow Roasted Beef and Sun Dried Tomato & Basil.
A Sunshine-Inspired Brand Refresh
The flavour debut is part of a broader brand revamp for Walkers. The company is introducing a refreshed logo, described as a "sun-inspired" design. The classic sunshine logo will now feature rays of light bursting from its centre.
In a nod to its heritage, every bag will also prominently display the signature of the company's founder, Henry Walker. Walkers has hailed this update as its "biggest design in years."
Wayne Newton, Marketing Director at Walkers, stated: "This is a landmark moment for Walkers as we undergo our biggest redesign in years and listen to crisp-lovers who said ‘show us the honey’, launching an on-trend flavour that reinforces Walkers’ dedication to flavour innovation."
Crisp Fans Eager for New Tastes
The announcement has generated excitement among snack enthusiasts on social media. Reacting to the recent permanent flavour launches, one customer on X (formerly Twitter) exclaimed: "Fabulous, can’t wait to try these!"
Other fans expressed hopes for future flavours, with requests for Mushroom and Cream, Roast Chicken, and Smoky Bacon varieties. The new Hot Honey flavour will sit alongside other popular recent additions like Sticky Teriyaki and Masala Chicken, indicating Walkers' strategy to capitalise on bold, global tastes.
With this dual move of a trendy new flavour and a visual brand refresh, Walkers is clearly aiming to dominate the UK crisp market as 2026 gets underway.
