The 34-year-old former Love Island contestant and Loose Women panellist decided to gift herself an early Christmas present this year: a professional CO2 laser treatment. Known for her candid approach to beauty regimes, Attwood documented the entire process on her Instagram, sharing a video that took fans from the clinic bed to her startling recovery phase.
She explained that the festive period, which she calls her "off season," is the perfect time for such invasive treatments. "I get, like, two weeks off camera," she stated, justifying the timing of the procedure which left her face covered in painful-looking red welts.
The Treatment and The Aftermath
In the detailed video, Attwood consulted with a specialist at a London clinic before undergoing the laser. She showed her skin pre-treatment, noting it was "pretty good overall" but that she wanted to boost collagen production and address sun damage accrued from summer filming and parties.
The footage then captured the moment the laser seared her skin. "It's spicy, but it's bearable," she warned viewers, describing how the CO2 laser works by stimulating the skin to create more collagen and elasticity. Post-treatment, her face was treated with ointments before the video cut to her recovery, showcasing her severely red and raw complexion. "This was me day two. The dog's terrified," she joked in a caption.
