Peter Andre's Stage Mishap: Emergency Dental Work After Fan Kicks Mic
Peter Andre needs emergency dental work after stage accident

Singer and television personality Peter Andre has revealed he was forced to undergo emergency dental treatment following an on-stage accident involving an over-enthusiastic fan.

Mic Kick Causes Painful Dental Damage

Andre explained the incident occurred during a live performance when he invited audience members onto the stage. A fan who had consumed "a few too many" drinks attempted a high kick, accidentally striking a microphone which then flew directly into the performer's mouth.

"The mic went straight into my tooth and chipped it badly. I was in absolute pain, caused a few chips actually," Andre recounted in a video message filmed from a car. He wryly described the event as a literal "kick in the teeth."

Family Connection Provides Speedy Solution

Fortunately for the father-of-five, a quick solution was at hand through family connections. His wife, NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh, has a brother, Tom, who runs an aesthetics clinic offering private cosmetic dentistry under the name DentaQuest.

Andre promptly visited the clinic for repairs. He enthusiastically showed off the results to his social media followers, stating: "Look what they've done. Just put my original teeth back to normal... No chips, or potatoes in general."

Parental Fears and Family Life Reflections

Separately from the dental drama, Andre recently used his column in OK! magazine to share his "biggest fear" as a parent. This followed the tragic, suspected drug-related death of 11-year-old Olivia Curley in November.

"As a parent, a big fear is that your children, especially at a young age, may be introduced to drugs," he wrote. He described the case as "every parent's worst nightmare," highlighting concerns about peer pressure and impressionable young people.

In his personal life, Andre is father to five children. He shares Millie, 11, Theo, nine, and 21-month-old Belle with wife Emily, whom he married in 2015. He is also dad to Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.

Reflecting on fatherhood in his new! magazine column, the 52-year-old referenced actor George Clooney's comments about becoming a dad later in life. While acknowledging some prefer to establish their career first, Andre stated: "I felt at the right age to start having children... I'm happy with my brood!"
