June has begun, and as the month starts, one major television company has implemented three clear changes to its TV guide. Sky has made amendments to several of its popular channels this month that customers should be aware of while scrolling through their television today.
SkyDecadesUK Renamed to SkyDirectorsHD
Throwback film lovers should note that their movie favorites can now be found under SkyDirectorsHD instead of SkyDecadesUK, following a temporary name change. This channel can still be accessed on Satellite 302 – Sky Glass/Stream 302.
Nick Jr Peppa Becomes Nick Jr. Too
For parents with young children, there has also been a change to the fan-favorite channel Nick Jr Peppa, which is on Satellite 612 – Glass/Stream 208 Glass. This channel is now to be known as Nick Jr. Too.
SkyPrideHD to Become SkyAnimationHD
Over the coming weekend, there will be a change to the name of SkyPrideHD, currently broadcasting from Satellite 303 – Sky Glass/Stream 303, to SkyAnimationHD. This change will be visible to those with a Sky box from June 6, and it is a temporary measure.
London TV Channel Permanently Axed
In other parts of the UK, one channel has been permanently removed. Sky has decided to take London TV (Satellite 117 in the London region) off its roster permanently. The television company stated: "London TV (Satellite 117 in the London region) closes permanently."
Advice for Users
For Sky users worried about any channels appearing missing or out of place, it is advised to reboot your Sky box, as reported by the Sun. For Freeview users, it is also recommended to give your box a refresh as there are numerous channel updates.
