Aston Villa have announced two additional pre-season friendlies in the Far East, along with the rescheduling of another fixture, as the club prepares for the 2026-27 Premier League campaign.
Rescheduled Friendly Against Real Sociedad
Following the opener against Walsall at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on Tuesday, July 21 (7:30pm), Villa's match against Real Sociedad at the same venue has been moved from Saturday, July 25 to Tuesday, July 28 (7:30pm).
Far East Tour: Indonesia and Thailand
Villa will then fly out to the Far East for three additional friendlies. The first is against Indonesia All Stars at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) in Jakarta on Saturday, August 1 (kick-off 7pm). They will then travel to Thailand to face BG Pathum United on Tuesday, August 4 at the True BG Stadium in Pathum Thani (kick-off 7:30pm).
Audi Football Summit in Hong Kong
Before returning to the UK, Villa will take on Bayern Munich in Hong Kong on Friday, August 7 in the inaugural Audi Football Summit.
Final Pre-Season Match in Germany
Ahead of the start of the Premier League season, Villa will also travel to Germany to face Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, August 15. Kick-off at Borussia-Park is scheduled for 2:30pm (UK time).
Premier League Opener
Villa's Premier League season opener comes against Brighton at the Amex on Sunday, August 23.
