Popular Birmingham City stadium announcer Rich Goulding has announced that he will be stepping down after 20 years in the job.
Goulding will be on the mic one last time when Bristol City come to St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park for the final home game of the 2025/26 season on Saturday.
The man on the mic has played a key role in some St Andrew's traditions over the past two decades, most notably setting up the trademark 'Who?' when away substitutes are called onto the pitch.
In a post on Facebook on Friday, Goulding said: "So, I have decided, after 20 years of service as Birmingham City's stadium announcer, I am stepping down at the end of the season.
"I want to say how privileged I have been to do this job for the last 20 years. It's been such a massive part of me and my family's life. I will miss the buzz from you, the fans, on those electric days and nights at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park.
"All the friends I've made. All the people I've been lucky enough to have interviewed. We have laughed and cried. Premier league, two stints at Wembley to address the fans. What an honour that was and I'll never forget it. The away subs, 'Who', I will definitely miss. Make sure they are extra loud tomorrow.
"So tomorrow's game is my last. I will hopefully be back from time to time to cover the new person which I would really look forward to.
"But, for now Blues fans, tomorrow's where I sign off on the mic. Thanks again to everyone for the support and as always…….KRO."
Goulding's departure marks the end of an era for Birmingham City, as he has been a constant presence at St Andrew's for two decades. His unique style and catchphrases have become part of the club's identity, and he will be missed by players, staff, and supporters alike.
