The Game On Community Fund, created by homebuilder Redrow, has been officially launched across the North West to inject vital cash directly into local sport during the World Cup. The initiative offers 10 separate £500 donations to community-focused football teams, earmarked for upgrading essential equipment, purchasing new kits, or improving local training facilities.

Funding Details and Eligibility

Applications are now open for not-for-profit teams in Daresbury and Widnes. Redrow is welcoming bids from a diverse range of groups, including youth academies, men’s and women’s leagues, as well as inclusive initiatives like wheelchair football and walking football groups. The deadline for applications is midnight on Sunday, July 19.
