The match, which concludes Blues' training camp in Lagos, follows last year's impressive 3-1 victory over La Liga side Sevilla at the Estadio Algarve.
Domestic Friendlies Begin with Burton Albion
The first domestic friendly is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22 against Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium. Blues will face the League One side, having lost 1-0 in last year's encounter, with Fabio Tavares scoring the only goal. Manager Chris Davies will look to rotate his squad to assess fitness and tactics ahead of the new season.
Double-Header Against Crewe Alexandra and Northampton Town
On Saturday, July 25, Blues will play a double-header against League Two opponents Crewe Alexandra and Northampton Town. The matches will take place at Crewe's Mornflake Stadium and Northampton's Sixfields, both kicking off at 3pm. Davies plans to split his squad to provide ample playing time for all players, assuming the squad remains healthy.
Showpiece Friendly: Barcelona Visit St Andrew's
The highlight of the pre-season schedule is the visit of Barcelona to St Andrew's on Friday, July 31 at 7:45pm. The Catalan giants are in England for a training camp at St George's Park.
