Jarrod Bowen urged to stay at West Ham despite Aston Villa, Everton links
Bowen urged to stay at West Ham amid Villa, Everton interest

Robert Snodgrass has said he would remain at West Ham United if he were Jarrod Bowen, despite ongoing speculation linking the winger with moves to Aston Villa and Everton. Bowen's future has come under fresh scrutiny following West Ham's relegation to the Championship after a dismal season.

West Ham's relegation and Bowen's role

Nuno Espirito Santo is staying on as manager as the club aims for an immediate return to the Premier League, but faces a battle to retain key players. Bowen is one of those assets, while Mateus Fernandes is also tipped for a big-money move, with links to Manchester United.

Snodgrass advises loyalty

Despite potential opportunities for the England international, former Aston Villa midfielder Snodgrass said he would choose to stay in London. "Jarrod Bowen to Aston Villa or Everton? I think he did really well last season despite where West Ham finished," Snodgrass told BirminghamLive. "He has been the main man and his numbers have been really good for the last three years. If I'm Jarrod, I'm staying at West Ham. He is the captain and he is loved there. Signing a longer-term deal would show massive loyalty and togetherness. If they keep him and make the right signings, it shows a massive intent to go straight back up."

Bowen's own words on his future

Bowen was asked about his future after West Ham's relegation and indicated his intention to help the club return to the top flight. Speaking to Sky Sports, Bowen said: "I am under contract here, I have been here six and a half years. There are going to be rumours, talk and nonsense. But ultimately, what I see is getting this club back in the Premier League. It is where it deserves to be; it is a really low moment but we have to bounce back. I have had some really good moments but this is really difficult. You never know what the future holds. For me, I want to see this club back in the Premier League."
