Police have taken decisive action against illegal pavement parking in a Black Country town, removing two vehicles following complaints from frustrated locals.

The crackdown occurred in Bilston, Wolverhampton, where West Midlands Police responded to multiple reports about cars obstructing the footpath. Officers discovered further issues upon inspection, finding both vehicles were not legally permitted to be on the road.
One of the seized cars, a grey model, was declared as off-road via a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN). The other, a red vehicle, was found to have no valid road tax. These additional offences compounded the initial parking infringement.
