Free Week of Bus Travel for Birmingham Residents in Selected Wards
Free Bus Travel for a Week in Birmingham Areas

Transport for West Midlands has launched an exciting initiative, offering a full week of complimentary bus travel to residents in specific parts of Birmingham.

Who is Eligible for the Free Travel?

The offer is targeted at people living in the wards of Moseley, Kings Heath, Edgbaston, Billesley, and Hall Green. There is, however, a key condition: the promotion is aimed at those who do not currently use the bus network. This initiative is designed to encourage new users to experience the benefits of public transport.

Applicants must be over the age of 16 to claim the pass. The seven-day travel pass is valid on any bus route within the entire Transport for West Midlands network area, providing extensive freedom to travel across the region.

How and When to Claim Your Pass

Residents must act quickly to take advantage of this opportunity. All claims must be submitted via the official Transport for West Midlands website before midnight on Sunday, December 1, 2025.

As part of the application process, postcodes will be checked to verify eligibility. This ensures the offer is correctly targeted to the intended neighbourhoods.

A Seasonal Invitation to Explore

Transport for West Midlands is promoting the scheme as a perfect way to enjoy the festive season. They encourage people to leave your car at home this winter and use the free travel for shopping trips, eating out, and other festive activities, letting the bus service take care of the journey.

This initiative not only provides a practical benefit to residents but also aims to reduce traffic congestion and promote sustainable travel options in the West Midlands during the busy winter period.
