Selly Oak Motorbike Raid Gang Hunted by Police

Police are hunting a motorbike raid gang after a theft in Selly Oak, with a CCTV appeal now issued to trace the suspects. West Midlands Police reported that a Triumph motorcycle, along with a backpack, was stolen from outside a shop on Chapel Lane. The footage released shows several individuals officers are keen to identify.

Details of the Incident

The theft occurred at approximately 5:30 PM on Monday, February 16. The bag was later recovered, but the motorbike remains missing. No arrests have been made so far.

Police Appeal

In a statement, the force said: "Recognise any of this group? We’d like to speak to them after a motorbike was stolen in Selly Oak. The Triumph bike was taken, along with a backpack, from outside a shop on Chapel Lane at around 5:30pm on Monday, February 16. The bag was later recovered, but the motorbike was not."

Officers are urging anyone who recognises the individuals or has information to come forward. "As part of our ongoing enquiries, we’d like to speak to those pictured. If you recognise them, or can help our investigation, call us on 101 or speak to us via Live Chat on our website quoting crime reference 20/149859/26," the police added.
