A joint investigation has been initiated by authorities following the tragic death of a man at the Tyseley rail depot in Birmingham. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, prompting a significant emergency response from multiple services.

According to official statements, emergency services were first alerted to the situation at approximately 1:46pm on Wednesday, February 4. West Midlands Ambulance Service received the initial call and dispatched a substantial team to the scene. The response included two standard ambulances, two paramedic officers, and the specialist Hazardous Area Response Team.
Additional critical care resources were also deployed, including a dedicated critical care car and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. British Transport Police officers arrived at the Tyseley rail depot shortly after receiving reports at 1:54pm concerning a man found in a critical condition on the premises.
