A man has tragically died following a single-vehicle crash in Halesowen, where his car overturned near the M5 slip road. The incident occurred on Manor Way at approximately 2:19 pm on Wednesday, June 17.

West Midlands Ambulance Service crews rushed to the scene and found the man suffering from serious injuries. Despite administering advanced life support, they were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the location.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service stated: "Upon arrival, ambulance staff discovered one patient, a man, who had suffered serious injuries in the incident. Crews immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite their best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him, and he was confirmed dead at the scene."

Road Closure

West Midlands Police closed Manor Way from the Grange Road/Grange Hill roundabout to the M5 slip road roundabout following the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. A police spokesperson said: "We are at the scene of a serious collision in Manor Way, Halesowen. The road is currently closed from the Grange Road/Grange Hill roundabout to the M5 slip road roundabout. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes. Thank you for your patience."

The road remained closed for several hours while investigators examined the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and authorities are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
