Jeremy Clarkson Signs Two-Show Deal with ITV
Jeremy Clarkson has signed up for two new television programmes with ITV, just months after revealing his prostate cancer diagnosis. The former Top Gear host, who recently shared his health battle on Clarkson's Farm, will return to host both Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and its spin-off Millionaire Hot Seat.
New Episodes Confirmed for 2026
ITV commissioner Katie Rawcliffe confirmed the commission: "The Millionaire brand continues to deliver for ITV audiences and Millionaire Hot Seat has brought an exciting new energy to the format. The combination of Jeremy Clarkson’s hosting and the high-pressure gameplay has proved a winning formula, so we’re delighted to be bringing both Millionaire Hot Seat and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? back for more episodes."
Both shows will be filmed later in 2026, with release dates yet to be announced. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will retain its classic format, while Millionaire Hot Seat, first introduced in 2025, pits six contestants against each other and the clock in a high-stakes competition where only the contestant in front of Clarkson can climb the Million Pound Money Ladder.
Clarkson's Health Update and Farm Show Future
Clarkson revealed in a recent interview that he is now in remission after treatment for an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Writing in the Sunday Times, he said: "I am without a doubt, officially, the world's luckiest man. It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble."
He has since used his social media platforms to encourage men to get tested early for prostate cancer. Despite his health scare, Clarkson's career continues to thrive: Clarkson's Farm has been renewed for a sixth season, set to air in 2027.
