Birmingham Pub Vows 'Instant Ban' After Toilets Vandalised Days After Repaint
Birmingham pub promises 'instant ban' after vandalism

A popular Birmingham pub has issued a stern warning, promising an instant ban for anyone caught vandalising its premises after a disheartening incident of graffiti.

Fresh Paint Job Ruined by Vandals

The incident occurred at The Bournbrook Inn on Pershore Road in Stirchley. Staff had spent hours on Saturday, January 3, meticulously repainting every toilet cubicle, only for the work to be ruined by graffiti just days later.

Staff Reaction and Pub's Stern Warning

Taking to social media, the pub's management expressed their frustration, labelling the act as "deflating and defeating" for the hard-working team. In a direct message on Instagram, the pub stated: "If you think it’s okay to come into our business and graffiti our toilets, this is definitely not okay."

The post highlighted the effort of the general manager and housekeeper, whose work was undone in a moment of vandalism. The pub has now drawn a firm line, declaring that if anything like this is caught again, an instant ban will be enforced against the perpetrator.

A Community-Focused Venue

The Bournbrook Inn is known as a family-friendly pub and often engages with its community through unique offers, such as a quirky Monday promotion where customers can win a free pint. This recent act of vandalism strikes a particular chord for a business that strives to create a welcoming environment for all.

The pub's strong stance aims to protect its property and the morale of its staff, sending a clear message that such anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
