In a bold move to combat the post-Christmas slump, fast-food giant Burger King has today unleashed two brand-new, cheese-laden burgers onto the UK market. The launch, timed to beat the January blues, introduces the most indulgent offerings yet to its Gourmet Kings range.

What's New on the Burger King Menu?

The chain is rolling out two never-before-seen creations: the Ultimate Philly Cheese Angus and the Ultimate Philly Cheese Crispy Chicken. Customers can choose between a patty made from 100% Aberdeen Angus beef or a crispy chicken breast.

Both burgers are packed with a hearty combination of melted cheese, fresh rocket, and smoked bacon. They are then topped with both caramelised and crispy onions for a dual-texture crunch. The entire stack is finished with a rich cheese sauce and BBQ gravy, all served within a soft brioche bun.

Limited-Time Launch and App-Exclusive Deals

These new gourmet burgers, along with other additions like Garlic & Jalapeño Chicken Fries and Gravy Loaded Fries, will be available at Burger King restaurants across the nation from January 13. However, fans will need to act quickly as they are only available for a limited time.

Beyond the new menu items, Burger King is also kicking off a special promotion. A Buy One Get One Free (BOGOF) deal will run for a short window between January 26 and January 28. This offer will be available exclusively through the Burger King app.

Furthermore, the app is currently hosting a £4.99 Kings Combo offer, allowing Brits to pick a burger, side, and drink. This deal runs from January 5 to February 5, but is only valid from Sunday to Thursday.

Burger King first arrived in the UK in 1976 with a single outlet in central London. Its initial success led to rapid expansion in the 1980s, where it took over numerous Wimpy and Little Chef locations.
