Harvey, a leading AI platform for the legal industry, has announced the launch of over 500 purpose-built legal agents alongside its Agent Builder tool, now in early access. The move marks a significant step in the evolution of AI in law, shifting from AI assistants to specialized legal agents capable of handling complex workflows.
Pre-Built Agents and Customization
The pre-built agents cover common legal workflows out of the box, while the Agent Builder allows law firms to tailor these agents using their own knowledge, processes, and ways of working. This combination provides organizations with a full spectrum of options, from immediate deployment to fully customized rollouts.
According to Harvey, more than 500 use case agents are live on the platform, with new agents added regularly as lawyers and customers identify emerging use cases. The agents are designed by lawyers, not prompt engineers, ensuring they are grounded in real legal practice and tested against evaluation benchmarks for accuracy and relevance.
Industry Leaders Weigh In

Platform Adoption and Availability
Legal teams have already created more than 25,000 custom agents on Harvey. The platform is trusted by over 100,000 lawyers across 1,500 organizations in more than 60 countries. The 500 agents and Agent Builder are in early access from May 5th and will be available to Harvey customers on an ongoing basis over the coming months.
