Aldi Launches Festive Dog Mince Pies for £4.99 Ahead of Christmas
Aldi's New Christmas Dog Treats: Festive Mince Pies

Aldi is introducing a festive first for UK dog owners this Christmas, launching a limited-edition range of savoury mince pies created specifically for canine companions.

A Festive Treat for Furry Friends

The supermarket giant is targeting the growing trend of pet owners spoiling their dogs during the holidays. The new Dog Mince Pies offer a savoury twist on the classic fruity mince pie flavour beloved by humans. To avoid any confusion in the Christmas pantry, each pie is topped with a distinctive mini bone-shaped dog treat.

Availability and Pricing Details

The special festive range will arrive in Aldi stores across the UK from December 11. Shoppers can pick up a pack of four pies for £4.99. However, customers are advised to act quickly, as the product is an Aldi Specialbuy, meaning stock is limited and once it's sold out, it will not be restocked.

Aldi's decision to launch this novel product follows research indicating a significant surge in pet owners who enjoy treating their dogs over the Christmas period.

Aldi's Broader Festive Offers

This pet-friendly launch coincides with the return of Aldi's popular festive vegetable promotion. The retailer has confirmed its 'Super Six' 8p vegetable deal will be back in stores from December 18 until December 24, subject to availability.

The promotion will include the following items:

  • White Potatoes (8p for 2kg)
  • Carrots (8p for 1kg)
  • Parsnips (8p for 500g)
  • Red and White Cabbages (8p each)
  • Brussels Sprouts (8p for 500g)
  • Swede (8p each)

Aldi states that it continues to partner with British growers and uses a fixed-cost pricing model to ensure farmers receive a fair price throughout the year. The company asserts this commitment allows it to offer savings to shoppers without compromising on quality or fairness in its supply chain.
