Bullring's Festive Boost: New Beauty Hall, Music Shop & Dessert Bar Open
Bullring's Christmas openings: Selfridges, music merch, dessert bar

Birmingham's iconic Bullring shopping centre is launching into the festive season with a significant wave of new openings and upgrades, offering shoppers a host of fresh reasons to visit.

Luxury Beauty and Unique Retail Arrive

A major highlight is the grand unveiling of the newly completed Selfridges beauty hall on the third floor. This expansive department is now the largest of its kind outside of London and has welcomed a roster of new luxury brands, including Victoria Beckham Beauty and Lisa Eldridge. This development represents a substantial investment and a major upgrade for beauty enthusiasts in the region.

Meanwhile, on the top floor, a novel retail concept has taken over the former Oasis pop-up space. This 'first-of-its-kind' store specialises in official merchandise and collectibles for a wide array of musical artists, giving fans unprecedented access to products in a dedicated physical location.

Sweet Treats and Festive Fun for All

For those with a sweet tooth, a new dining destination is preparing to launch. Hoardings on the lower ground floor announce the imminent arrival of Dolci Mono, a kiosk promising theatrical desserts. Its menu will feature items like ice cream bars with various dips and toppings, alongside viral cakes, matcha, and hot chocolates.

Pets are not forgotten in the festive plans. Pets at Home is bringing its 'Petsmas' grotto to the centre on Saturday, December 6. The present-shaped house will offer a walk-in Santa experience for pets and their owners from 10am until 5pm. The event is first come, first served, with no booking required. Festive treats will be available for furry friends, including free 'puppuccinos', while their humans can enjoy complimentary hot chocolates (all while stocks last).

Solidifying a Major Retail Destination

This collection of diverse new offerings—spanning luxury beauty, niche music merchandise, indulgent food, and family-friendly experiences—is strategically timed for the crucial Christmas trading period. The scale of investment, particularly in the Selfridges beauty hall, underscores a clear intent to solidify the Bullring's status as a premier retail destination that can compete with the offerings of the capital.

By significantly broadening its appeal, the Bullring is enhancing the overall customer experience, providing compelling new attractions for a wide range of shoppers during the busiest time of the retail calendar.
