Quiz Collapses, Final Clearance Sale at All Stores

Major UK Clothing Retailer Quiz Enters Administration, Initiates Final Clearance

A prominent UK clothing chain, Quiz, has officially collapsed into administration and commenced a "final clearance" sale across all its retail locations. The company filed for administration last month, triggering closing down promotions throughout every department of its stores.

Substantial Discounts on All Remaining Stock

Now, the chain is implementing even more significant price reductions on its entire inventory as administrators evaluate potential options for the business. Boots have been slashed by at least 50 percent, while all other footwear items are discounted by a minimum of 40 percent. Dresses, handbags, and accessories are now at least 30 percent off, with the remainder of the stock reduced by 20 percent or more.

This drastic move follows a "disappointing" Christmas trading period and escalating operational costs, which compelled the company into administration for the sixth time in its history.

Administrator Encourages Shoppers to Visit Stores

Alistair McAlinden, head of Interpath Scotland and joint administrator, stated, "As we continue to explore options for the business, we would encourage shoppers to visit their nearest stores, with further discounts available on all remaining stock."

All Quiz stores and concessions are included in this insolvency process, affecting numerous locations across Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland.
