Tesco has issued a critical alert to its millions of Clubcard holders, warning that a staggering £16.5 million worth of loyalty vouchers are set to become void in just three weeks.
The Impending Deadline
The supermarket giant is urging customers to act swiftly, as the vouchers will expire at midnight on Sunday, 30 November 2025. Any vouchers not redeemed by this cut-off point will be lost permanently, as they cannot be used or reissued after their two-year validity period ends.
This substantial sum represents a significant amount of potential savings for loyal shoppers. If all the expiring vouchers were used for the popular Tesco Tuesdays cinema deal, it would be enough to secure a massive 6.6 million tickets at Cineworld.
How to Check and Use Your Vouchers
Customers can easily check their voucher status by logging into the Tesco Clubcard website and navigating to 'Clubcard account' and then 'Vouchers'. Alternatively, the same check can be performed through the user-friendly Tesco app.
Once located, vouchers can be spent in-store or online using a provided code. The value of Clubcard points is substantial: each point is worth 1p, meaning 100 points equates to £1 to spend in Tesco or a boosted £2 to spend with over 100 Reward Partners.
These partners include major names like Disney+, Pizza Express, easyJet, and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Exciting current promotions include:
- Tesco Tuesdays with Cineworld: Cinema tickets for Tuesday screenings for just £5 (£2.50 in Clubcard Vouchers).
- Triple value with PizzaExpress: £10 in Clubcard vouchers can be exchanged for a code giving £30 off food.
How to Extend Your Vouchers
For those not ready to spend, there is a way to safeguard your rewards. You can extend the validity of your vouchers by an additional two years. To do this, you need to make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page.
The remaining balance will then be returned to your Clubcard account as points. These points can be manually exchanged for new vouchers or will be automatically converted with your next statement. This process resets the clock, giving you until November 2027 to use them.
