Warrior Nutrition Expands Board to Drive Global Growth Strategy
Warrior Nutrition Expands Board for Global Growth

Warrior Nutrition Forms Advisory Board to Accelerate International Expansion

Sports nutrition brand Warrior, based in Manchester, has established its inaugural advisory board as part of a strategic push to accelerate its global growth. The company, founded by Kieran Fisher in 2008, has appointed Chris McLaughlin and Nick Rhind as board advisors, while also naming Ian Cassidy as the new chief technology officer.

Building on a Strong Foundation

Warrior has grown into a prominent player in the competitive sports nutrition market without relying on private equity investment. Its products, including the flagship Warrior RAW protein bar, are now available in 30 countries and are stocked in major UK supermarkets. The brand is also expanding its Creatine and Creatine Plus ranges both in physical stores and online.

In 2024, Warrior completed a £2 million expansion of its production and warehouse facilities in Trafford Park. This investment supports the company's vertically integrated business model, which involves manufacturing many of its products in the UK and managing its own delivery operations.

Strategic Guidance for Future Growth

Founder Kieran Fisher emphasized that the new advisory board will provide crucial strategic guidance as Warrior aims to broaden its product portfolio and enhance its overseas presence. Chris McLaughlin brings extensive experience from working with leading consumer brands such as Kellogg's, All About Food, and St Pierre Groupe. Nick Rhind, founder of CTI Digital, offers over two decades of expertise in supporting high-growth companies.

Ian Cassidy, who previously served as commerce director at CTI Digital, has been appointed as chief technology officer. His role will focus on driving Warrior's growth across digital channels, including the brand's own websites, Amazon, and TikTok.

Ambitious Vision for a World-Class Brand

Kieran Fisher stated, "From day one, the ambition with Warrior has been to build a world-class performance nutrition brand. Bringing Chris, Nick, and Ian into the leadership team strengthens the business as we continue expanding internationally and investing in the infrastructure required to support that growth. They bring huge experience in building and scaling businesses, and their insight will help guide Warrior through the next phase of its journey."

This move underscores Warrior's commitment to leveraging expert knowledge and digital innovation to sustain its growth trajectory in the dynamic sports nutrition industry.
