Bensons for Beds Raises £32,000 for Crisis Charity

Bensons for Beds customers have helped raise more than £32,000 for the homelessness charity Crisis through the retailer’s National Bed Month campaign. During March, Bensons for Beds pledged £5 from every Slumberland mattress sold to Crisis, with an additional five customers selected at random having the full value of their mattress order donated to the charity. The initiative marks the company’s largest single fundraising campaign donation to date.

Campaign Highlights

Launched during National Bed Month, the campaign highlighted the importance of a safe and secure place to sleep, while supporting Crisis in its work to end homelessness. The money raised could help Crisis provide essential support, including helping 20 people cover a deposit and first month’s rent to move into stable accommodation.

Impact of the Donation

Crisis said the donation will make a significant difference to its services, helping more people move away from homelessness. Since partnering in 2022, Bensons for Beds and Crisis have raised more than £135,000 together and donated over 800 essential bedding items, including mattresses, pillows, duvets and sheets.
