Businesswomen from across the Midlands are being invited to attend a pioneering new networking retreat this month. The inaugural event is designed to help female entrepreneurs avoid burnout while building professional connections for local benefit. The special session will take place at the Moor Hall Hotel and Spa in Sutton Coldfield on June 15, 2026.
Event Details and Focus
Running from 10am until 4pm, the day will bridge the gap between business growth and holistic wellbeing. The landmark gathering has been organised by Kellie Johnson, who runs the local business community NetworkLocal. Kellie said: “In an era of increasing professional burnout, this is a pioneering wellness-first approach to business that’s designed to be a powerful reset for women who are used to running at full speed. The Reset & Connect Retreat is the first event of its kind for our community and curated to help local female business entrepreneurs and professionals to decompress while fostering authentic, local partnerships in a relaxed setting.”
Building Stronger Relationships Through Wellbeing
Organisers believe that the strongest professional relationships are formed when people are feeling their best both mentally and physically. Kellie added: “We recognise that the strongest business relationships are built when people are at their best, both mentally and physically. By stepping away from the desk and into the tranquil surroundings of Moor Hall, we hope our guests will return to their businesses feeling recharged and more deeply connected to their peers.”
Workshops and Activities
Tickets for the day are priced at £49 per person and include a variety of workshops led by regional experts. Guests will enjoy a specialised masterclass on networking skills alongside lunch and a dedicated breathwork session. The workshops will be delivered by local specialists from HayLowe Coaching, VenGold Transformations, Sculpt & Smooth with Nomes, and Ginger Bucks. The day will also mark the launch of a new series of relaxed outdoor walking events designed to combine business connection with nature.
