Detectives are baffled as the longest-serving suspect on West Midlands Police's most wanted list remains at large after six years. Sayed Hersi's mugshot has been viewed over 140,000 times, but his whereabouts remain a mystery.
The Elusive Fugitive
Sayed Hersi, 47, from Birmingham, first appeared on the public most wanted list in June 2020. He is wanted for breaching a court order, though little else is known about his alleged crime. Despite extensive appeals, police have no idea where he is.
Investigation Challenges
Detectives believe Hersi may have changed his appearance or fled abroad. The case has been frustrating for officers, who have seen his mugshot viewed over 142,000 times online. West Midlands Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
In a statement, police said: "We're after your help in tracing Sayed Hersi from Birmingham who is wanted for a breach of a court order." They ask the public to contact them via Live Chat, call 101, or anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting reference 20BW/262577U/19.
