Major Breakthrough in Sheldon Pub Investigation
West Midlands Police have announced a significant development in their investigation into a sexual assault that took place at a pub in the Sheldon area of Birmingham. A male suspect was arrested on November 30 in connection with the offence.

The incident, which police have been investigating since July of this year, involved a woman who was sexually assaulted while working at a pub in Sheldon. The victim was on duty at the venue at the time of the attack.
Officers from the Smith's Wood, Kingshurst & Castle Bromwich policing team confirmed that CCTV footage was instrumental in identifying the alleged offender, leading to the breakthrough in the case.
Suspect in Custody
The arrested male is currently in police custody where he awaits questioning by detectives. In a public statement, police shared: "This morning the team arrested a male in Sheldon for sexual assault. The offence was committed against a staff member at a pub in our area when she was working back in July. CCTV helped in identifying the offender and he was found today."
