Serious Assault at City Centre Bus Stop

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a violent attack at a bus stop in the heart of Birmingham.

The incident occurred at the number 74 bus stop on Priory Queensway at approximately 8.50pm on Saturday, November 8.

Emergency Response and Hospitalisation

Paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene just before 9pm.

A spokesperson confirmed: "An ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a man with serious injuries. He was treated by ambulance staff and conveyed to hospital."

The victim received treatment at the location before being transported to hospital for further care.

Police Investigation and Witness Appeal

West Midlands Police have confirmed that one man has been arrested in connection with the assault.

However, investigators believe there were multiple people present during the incident and are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The force stated: "We understand that there were multiple people present at the time of the incident where two men assaulted another man."
