Birmingham's neighbourhood with the highest number of antisocial behaviour incidents in 2025 has been revealed. According to data obtained by BirminghamLive through a Freedom of Information request, Birmingham City Centre recorded 635 antisocial behaviour (ASB) incidents last year, the highest in the city.
West Midlands Police recorded over 10,000 ASB incidents across Birmingham in 2025. ASB is defined under the Antisocial Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 as behaviour that causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm, or distress to people not in the same household.
Monthly Breakdown of Incidents
April 2025 saw the highest monthly number of ASB incidents in the city centre, with 82 cases, while December had the lowest with 28. The monthly figures are as follows:

Police Response
West Midlands Police have stated they are actively addressing ASB issues, working with council partners and the community. The force has dedicated neighbourhood officers as part of the government's neighbourhood policing guarantee to tackle crime and ASB at a local level.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: 'We don't tolerate anti-social behaviour in Birmingham or anywhere in the West Midlands, and we're working with our partners every day to tackle it as we know the effect it can have on people's lives.'
The spokesperson added: 'Specific patrols in hotspot areas are aimed at reducing ASB, and as well as providing visible reassurance, we're targeting those suspected of being involved in crime and disorder. We have an ASB action plan, aiming to make communities safer by stopping, preventing, and responding to ASB with a harm-focused approach that puts victims' needs first.'
Police also highlighted that 13,000 responses to their Action on ASB survey earlier this year are helping to inform local plans. They encourage residents to report any ASB concerns to their local officers.
