Tragic Early Morning Collision Claims Life of Seven-Year-Old Boy
A young schoolboy has died after being struck by a car in a devastating incident on one of the Midlands' busiest roads. The seven-year-old was hit on the A38, close to Lichfield, in the early hours of Saturday, March 7.

Emergency services were called to the junction with the A5206 following the collision, which occurred at approximately 5am. Despite the efforts of medics, the child was pronounced dead at the scene. Staffordshire Police confirmed that the boy's family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
