Upon arrival, officers discovered a car had collided with a lamppost and four men had sustained stab wounds. The victims, aged in their 20s and 30s, were rushed to hospital with serious injuries. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson detailed the extensive emergency response, which included four ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor, a critical care paramedic, the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car, and a BASICS emergency doctor.

The first two patients were assessed with life-threatening injuries and received advanced trauma care at the scene before being conveyed to hospital with medics continuing treatment en route. The third man had serious injuries and also received advanced trauma care on-site, while the fourth man's injuries were not believed to be serious, and he was treated at the scene before all were taken to hospital for further care.
