West Midlands Police have released a photograph of a man they wish to speak to following a robbery at a supermarket in Halesowen. The incident occurred at The Cornbow Centre in the Black Country town on May 3.
According to police, the suspect took alcohol from a shelf and attempted to leave the store without paying. This led to an altercation with a security guard before the man fled the scene at approximately 3:45 PM.
Officers have been conducting enquiries and are now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the individual pictured. Anyone with information is urged to contact West Midlands Police via 101 or through the Live Chat option on their website, quoting crime number 20/237010/26. The force spokesperson said: "Can you help us identify this man? We're appealing for the public's help following a robbery at a supermarket in The Cornbow Centre, Halesowen on May 3, when alcohol was taken from the shelves and a man tried to leave the store without paying. Following an altercation with a security guard, a man fled the scene at 3:45 PM. Officers have since been carrying out enquiries and would like to speak with the man pictured in connection with the incident."
