Swansea Man Receives Prison Sentence for Night Out Assaults
A 34-year-old man from Swansea has been handed a 12-month prison sentence after admitting to sexual assault and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm during a night out in the city centre.
Guilty Pleas and Court Proceedings
Nathan Bantick, of Mount Pleasant, pleaded guilty to all charges relating to the incident which occurred on November 26, 2025 on The Kingsway in Swansea, Wales. The sexual assault charge specifically involved the unwanted touching of a woman without her consent during the evening.
Detective Constable Ben Evans of South Wales Police emphasised the seriousness of the offences, stating: "Nobody should go on a night out anywhere and expect to be on the receiving end of unwanted and inappropriate touching. Nathan Bantick's actions on the night in question were unacceptable and go to show that this behaviour is serious enough to likely result in a prison sentence."

A police spokesperson added: "We never underestimate how difficult it is for survivors of sexual abuse to speak out and report.
