A devastating incident unfolded in central Tokyo on Monday, resulting in one fatality and at least 10 people injured after a car drove into a crowd. The event has sent shockwaves through the city's Adachi Ward, prompting a major police investigation.

The collision occurred at approximately 12:30 pm local time, striking around a dozen individuals. According to reports, the driver subsequently abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene on foot.
