Elderly Pedestrian Dies Following Car Park Collision

A man in his 70s has died after being involved in a collision with a car in the Farmfoods car park on Holyhead Road in Telford.

The incident occurred on Thursday, November 27, at around 3pm, and involved a black Audi A1.

Emergency services, including paramedics, rushed to the scene and treated the pedestrian for serious injuries.

Despite their best efforts, the man was declared deceased a short time later.

Police Launch Witness Appeal

West Mercia Police has launched an appeal for information and is treating the incident as a serious collision.

The force is particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the event or who has dashcam footage from the Holyhead Road area around the time of the collision.

In an official statement, police said: "We are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a car and pedestrian in Telford in which a man sadly lost his life."
