West Midlands Police has appealed for the public's help to identify a man after charity boxes were stolen during a burglary in Brierley Hill.
A venue on Hillcrest Avenue was targeted at around 6.10am on Sunday, April 5. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man officers wish to identify. The image shows a man on a red bike wearing dark clothing, although much of his face is covered.
An accompanying appeal read: "Can you help us identify this man? We received reports of a burglary taking place at a venue on Hillcrest Avenue, Brierley Hill, on 5 April, at 6.10am. Entry was forced into the building and charity boxes taken from inside before a suspect made off from the scene."
Officers have been carrying out CCTV trawls and speaking to locals in the area, but are now appealing for the public's help to identify the man. "We understand their face is covered but believe he is a white man, in his 20s, who could help us with our enquiries."
"If you recognise the person in the image, get in touch with us." People can contact the force by calling 101 or using the live chat option at www.west-midlands.police.uk, quoting crime number 20/202946/26. To remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
