A man has been left with serious injuries following a collision between a car and a quad bike in Birmingham. The incident occurred on Sunday evening, prompting an urgent police appeal for witnesses.

The crash took place at around 7:15 PM on the A34 Walsall Road, near the junction with Aldridge Road, in the Perry Barr area. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a collision involving a silver Ford Fiesta and a black quad bike.

The rider of the quad bike, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition is described as stable but serious.

Police Investigation and Appeal

West Midlands Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident.

Sergeant Mark Crozier from the force's Traffic Unit said: "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to come forward. We are also looking for dashcam footage that may have captured the collision or the moments leading up to it."

Road Closures and Disruption

The A34 Walsall Road was closed in both directions for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene and collision investigators carried out their inquiries. The road has since reopened.
