Tragedy in Morden: Beloved Mother and Counsellor Named

A murder investigation is underway in Swindon following the death of Sarah Forrester, a 55-year-old mother-of-two. Emergency services were called to an address on Baydon Close in the Morden area on Friday, November 21, following reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, police discovered Ms Forrester, who was not breathing. She was declared dead at the scene. The property is understood to be her home.

Teenager Arrested and Bailed in Murder Probe

Wiltshire Police confirmed that a 13-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident. The teenager has since been released on police bail while the investigation continues.

Detective Chief Superintendent Guy Elkins stated that the force's major crime investigation team is leading the inquiry. He provided a crucial update, confirming, "I can confirm that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with Sarah’s death."

Local residents have reported a heightened police presence in the area as officers continue their investigations. Police have urged the public not to speculate about the tragic event and have encouraged anyone with concerns to speak directly with their local neighbourhood policing team.

A Life Dedicated to Helping Others

Sarah Forrester was a highly respected counselling co-ordination manager for the Swindon-based mental health charity The Kelly Foundation. The charity released a heartfelt statement expressing their profound grief.

They described Sarah as "completely committed to the charity and devoted to her two young children." The statement further praised her, saying, "Sarah was an incredible person, kind, thoughtful, considerate, caring and funny and she embodied everything that we hope our charity is and can be."

The charity added that her loss is a "hugely traumatic event" for her colleagues, friends, and most of all, for her children and family. They have asked for privacy and stated they will not be commenting further out of respect for her grieving family.

Police have confirmed that no other injuries were reported from the incident. The investigation into the death of Sarah Forrester remains active.
