Six people have been arrested by police in relation to the tragic fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old in Coventry, as authorities continue their intensive manhunt for another suspect. Michael Ababio, aged 18, was fatally stabbed following a disturbance outside Foleshill Library on Broad Street. The attack occurred at approximately 9:40 PM on Sunday, February 22. Arrests and Police Investigation
In a significant development, West Midlands Police have arrested six individuals in connection with the case. Three teenage boys, aged 17 and 19, were apprehended overnight in Nuneaton and North Wales on suspicion of murder. Additionally, a 17-year-old girl, a 19-year-old woman, and a 23-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All six remain in police custody as the investigation progresses.
Detective Inspector Nigel Box, who is leading the investigation, stated, "These arrests represent a crucial step forward in our inquiry. The police are actively searching for Ismael Nabeel, aged 19, who is wanted in connection with the stabbing.
Additional Arrest and Charges
During the same incident on February 22, a second man, Yahyaa Kara, aged 19, was discovered outside Dixy Chicken on Foleshill Road with multiple slash wounds to his hand and arm. Initially arrested on suspicion of murder, Kara was later de-arrested and subsequently charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
Kara appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court last week and is scheduled to appear next at Warwick Crown Court on March 26. This development adds a complex layer to the ongoing investigation, linking the violent event to broader criminal activities.

West Midlands Police have reiterated their appeal for public help in solving this case.
