Midland Brothel Shut Down After Police Uncover Exploitation
Solihull Massage Parlour Closed Over Exploitation

Court Orders Closure of Illicit Solihull Massage Parlour

Birmingham Magistrates' Court has issued a full closure order for the Dragon Phoenix massage parlour on Hatchford Brook Road in Solihull. The order came after West Midlands Police presented compelling evidence that the premises was being used for illegal sex work, with particular concerns about the trafficking and exploitation of women.

Evidence of Exploitation and Distress

During multiple visits to the establishment, officers discovered Chinese women living on the premises who had no passports or valid work permits. In one disturbing instance, a woman was found with visible bruises on her body. The situation escalated when a customer contacted police after a distressed woman whispered "help, call the police" to him during a visit.

Further evidence collected by the Solihull Prime Crime Team included:

  • Black bags containing tissues with dried semen
  • Multiple intelligence reports confirming sexual services were being offered
  • Witness accounts of a half-naked man being forcibly ejected in view of local schoolchildren

Business Owner's Response and Community Reaction

Carl Aldo Tirrito, one of the business directors, refuted the allegations, describing the legal action as a "witch hunt" driven by community members who objected to having a massage parlour in their neighbourhood. Despite his protests, Mr. Tirrito did not contest the closure order and expressed his intention to sever all ties with the area.

The magistrates granted a three-month closure order, though the solicitor confirmed the business would have relocated regardless. Local councillor Laura McCarthy welcomed the court's decision, praising police and the "brave residents" who provided eyewitness accounts. She emphasised that exploiting vulnerable people "will not be tolerated" in the community.
