A teenager is in a stable condition in hospital following a stabbing in Birmingham. The incident occurred on Monday evening in the Handsworth area of the city.
Police Response
West Midlands Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Rookery Road at around 7:30 PM. Officers attended the scene along with ambulance crews, and the victim was taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
A police cordon was put in place while forensic examinations were carried out. Enquiries are ongoing, and officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
