Teenager Threatened with Knife in Railway Station Robbery
A teenager was threatened with knives and robbed after arranging to sell a coat at a railway station in the Black Country. The incident occurred at Dudley Port railway station at approximately 6.45pm on Sunday, January 25.
Details of the Robbery
The teenager had arranged to meet what he believed was a legitimate buyer for the coat. Upon arrival, he was confronted by the man and a friend, both of whom brandished knives. Fearing for his safety, the teenager handed over the coat to the assailants.
Police Investigation and Appeal
British Transport Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the robbery. A spokesperson stated, "Detectives investigating a robbery in Dudley in January have today released these images in connection. At around 6.45pm on Sunday 25 January, a teenager went to Dudley Port railway station to sell a coat to someone he’d arranged to meet. Upon meeting the man and the man’s friend, the teenager was threatened by both who brandished knives. Fearing for his own safety, the teenager then handed over the coat."
The spokesperson added, "Detectives would like to speak to the men pictured, as they may have information which could help their investigation." Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
